You have a very cute “paper shredder”, Susan. Your boy must’ve enjoyed tearing all those papers. :) I guess you don’t need a shredding machine since he can already do all of the tearing. Haha! Just kidding. Anyway, when you have to shred a lot of important documents, I guess the little boy can’t do the job alone and the shredding machine work with him.
Our two youngest children were born with a rare error of metabolism called Fatty acid Oxidation Disorder. FOD makes it necessary for them eat carbohydrates every 2 hours to prevent life threatening hypoglycemia. When their bodies are stressed with normal childhood illnesses they need carbohydrates on an hourly basis and sometimes have to be hospitalized for I.V.s of a dextrose solution to keep up with their metabolic needs.
Flexibility has been the key to adjusting our home school with the addition of chronically ill toddlers. Join me at the The Flexible Homeschooleras I fall down and get back up. I love comments:)

Look at the baby boy he is surrounded by the lots of scattered small papers but if there's paper shredder, it would not happen.
