Sleep Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Sleep moved away, the heartless baggage.
Her cousin, Catnap, came to stay.

Catnap makes great coffee, but I miss Sleep.

Sleep was a soothing housemate, with slippered, quiet feet
Catnap is a cranky guest.  She slams about and is easily startled.

I miss Sleep,
but at least Catnap makes great coffee.

    Sleep keeps getting rudely interrupted by "I'm Thirsty and Have to Go Poo Poo" over here.
